Photography has always been my passion. Even as a child, I was always carrying around a camera. I am not just taking photos for you, I am capturing memories…..memories of your family that you will treasure for years to come. The atmosphere at Green Apple Portraits is very relaxed and it is important to me that my customers feel at home and comfortable. My sessions are never rushed as I like to get to know your child so that I can capture their true personality. Custom photography is just that…….customized to your needs. So go ahead and bring that Yankee shirt (sorry no Mets fans lol) or Dad's golf bag and we will set up a special shot just for you. I want your photos to be unique. I have an extensive collection of props, hats, headbands, diaper covers and backgrounds that will truly make your photos one of a kind. Although newborn photography is my specialty, I also photograph actors and families. My session fee is $200 for newborns and Birthday Cake Smash sessions. All other sessions are $150 (additional $50 for traveling to locations). The session fee does not include any prints or digital images. Orders can only be placed from the current session. Sessions cannot be combined with multiple sessions when ordering. Session fee covers immediate family only. I will present a "sneak peak" of a few photos from your session on my Facebook Fan Page immediately following your session. Within two weeks of your session, you will be presented with an online gallery of 15-20 proofs. I welcome anyone to return to our studio for a consultation if you need help choosing or have questions. All orders include free retouching to remove minor skin imperfections and blemishes. Newborn Session Information (ages newborn up to 6 months) $200 session fee (Does not include prints or digital images) Newborn photography is my specialty. I am just in love with how special they are and are so aware of how quickly they change. Newborns are best photographed within 5-10 days after they are born. During this time, they are still very sleepy and "curly" and I am able to move them around and pose them without disturbing them. If you are coming with a baby older than two weeks, I cannot guarantee that I can get all the poses you see on my website. After two weeks, they begin to dislike being disturbed and often baby acne occurs around this time so please please try to come during the 5-10 day period. Please contact me while you are still pregnant so I can save you a spot! Newborn sessions take 2-3 hours to complete as I allow plenty of time for feeding, cuddling and changing the set-ups. For pricing purposes, I consider any baby under 6 months old a newborn as the sessions just take longer and require more editing. I have some very unique newborn props such as an antique carriage sent to me from Amsterdam, a beautiful tree branch with a hanging stork pouch, and a vintage hanging scale that displays your baby's weight. I also have a large assortment of hats, headbands, wraps, furs, buckets, baskets and several things you have probably never seen before. I keep the studio very warm because most of our newborn shots are taken with the baby unclothed. Please make sure you bring plenty of diapers and wipes and possibly an extra change of clothes in case of the occasional accident. All of our items are washable so don't worry and don't be surprised if an accident happens, even on me! If you have seen something on my website you would like to request please let me know ahead of time so I can have it ready when you arrive. This helps the session to move quicker. I try to make each session unique. I like trying new things and making your photographs one of a kind. If you would like a photograph with your new baby, I suggest wearing a long sleeve black shirt. If you are bringing a sibling, we suggest bringing Dad or someone with you who can take them out for a walk or take them out for lunch after we get a few shots that include them because the remainder of the newborn session could take several hours. If your baby takes a pacifier please bring it because it sometimes helps to get them back to sleep after I move them to a new pose. Please contact me as soon as possible with your due date so we can get you on the schedule. Sessions often fill up several months in advance and I want to make sure I can get you in during that all important 5-10 day period. I work with Tiny Prints for creating beautiful birth announcements. With a package purchase, I upload up to 5 photos of your choice onto Tiny Prints so you can try out different card options and create the card of your choice. I have several samples in the studio so you can see the beautiful quality of their cards. I do not upload files onto any other site such as Shutterfly. If you plan to use a card site other than Tiny Prints you will need to purchase the digital images. Remember your session fee does not include any prints or digital images which must be purchased separately. 1st Birthday Cake Smash Session: $200 (Includes cake and 5 4x6's from the cake smash portion of the session) Everyone has a great time at the 1st birthday cake smash sessions. Birthday shoots include a regular session with two or three non-birthday set-ups first. You are welcome and encouraged to bring several different outfits for this portion of the shoot or you are welcome to use things I have available for that age. After the regular session, we set up for the cake smash! A cake is included or you can bring your own. Wrapped presents, balloons and decorations make for a spectacular backdrop. It can get quite messy during the "party" so make sure to bring some clean clothes and a plastic bag to take the cake covered ones home :) I do have tutus and diaper covers in case you don't want to go home with cake covered clothes. The cake smash sessions include 5 - 4x6 prints from the cake smash portion of the shoot. I also create custom 16"x16" birthday collages containing 9 photos. These can be purchased separately. This allows more flexibility for you to get the sizes you want instead of requiring you to only purchase certain sizes as required by a pre-set package. For example, the Buttons Collection contains 7 sheets. So you could order 7 8x10's, 14 5x7's or any combination of any of the sheets that equals 7. The sheets do not have to be the same pose. Sheet Choices: 1 sheet = 8x10 1 sheet = 2 5x7's 1 sheet = 2 4x6's 1 sheet = 8 wallets (same pose) 2 sheets = 11x14 3 sheets = 16x20 3 sheets = a triptic (a special collage that can be viewed on our special creations page) 7% NJ sales tax must be added to orders. At Green Apple Portraits, I know how to take headshots that "pop". I have clients that have appeared on soap operas, television shows, movies and national commercials. I have several NY agents who refer their clients to my studio because they know our shots really stand out. Your session will include 2-3 outfit changes and 30-50 online proofs for viewing and sharing with agents and managers. You will choose your two favorites and we will touch them up and prepare them for printing. You will receive two files via email both with and without the white frame and name. You can then print them at the lab of your choosing. I can recommend one for you if you don't have one in mind already.
